buti nalang watching "Death Note" keeps me sane right now. LOL...
and the thought that my family is counting on me BIG time! wha! i don't really like expectations and anticipations...nakakapressure...pero ganun talaga...Mahal ko sila...nax!
and of course ang Maykapal na di ako pinapabayaan. Amen! yup yup. prayer is really what keeps me sane. conversing with Him helps BIG TIME. hehe.

8 facts about LIQUE:

1. i can put my leg(s) over/behind my head (yes, just like kim chu)

2. i had a stage in my life where i was really chubby...and even really thin! kasi mataba talaga ako nung bata ako...i became thin when i took ballet classes during 1st to half of 3rd grade...mama made me stop kasi i was getting very thin..pramis! (will try to find pix pag-uwi kong lipa hehehe)

3. i have brown eyes...(that only a few people notice :p)

4. i am a hello kitty fan...but now i don't collect much...guess i grew out of it...but i have HK telephone, trash can, stuff toy, pillows, bed sheet, lamps, clocks, picture frames, stationeries ETC!!!!

5. i was a CAT officer (yes, for some people it's unbelievable)...top 5 toh mga dude! haha, pero hanggang dun nlng ako.di nako nag ROTC...hehehe

6. i am a frustrated model...hahaha...kapos sa height kaya di pwede EVER! tsk.a sad, sad truth i have to live with...

7. i almost always crave for something sweet...nyak, i ALWAYS want dessert! wha! it's a sickness...i can't help it...hehehehe...to the point na papapakin ko ang condensed milk or milo or powdered milk just to satisfy my craving...

8. i love to cook...it's like chemistry for me...the kitchen is my lab...hehehe..almost always, i get yummy results naman...

nyay. may thesis topics na kami!

wha! i can't believe it!

heto na, heto na, whaaaa!

ever since i can remember, i've been praying to God for a thesis topic - yung kaya ko tsaka yung maganda naman siyempre.

nung Youth-CLP Retreat ko nga eh isa yun sa mga pinagdadasal ko talaga.

Right after the retreat, habang nakatunganga sa CALABARZON Star Tollway, eh naisip ko bigla ang thesis...nyak, corny i know, pero i took it as a sign from God. And then, come to think of it, my book report for Ma'am Galingan last semester was all about roads - specifically guidelines for the greening of metro manila roadways. Ayun, another "sign". Nakwento ko na toh, i know, pero inaayos ko lang ang delivery ng pagkikwento, hehe...Then, come first meeting for our thesis class, Sir Dan made us read journals and react on the articles and maybe, with some stroke of luck, we'll get to have an idea of a thesis topic. and viola, one of the firsts journal articles i found was:   Reclaiming the Obsolete in Transitional Landscapes: Perception, Motion, Engagement by Krystallia Kamvasinou / Kent School of Architecture, UK, JoLA (Journal of Landscape Architecture) 2006 Issue. ehem...

...spaces between city and countryside commonly experienced on the move are called transitional landscapes commonly found in the commuting life of metropolitan areas...

o diba bongga! hehehe...ang corny ko talaga noh? umaasa sa signs? Pero I'm confident about it for some reason...and i make God my reason! nax! chorva...

and so yesterday sir dan made approvals on our topic proposals...and guess what? yep, approved ang Transitional Landscaping of the CALABARZON Star Tollway ko! at yun na yun...kaso i have to think of a better statement than this...more specific and focused daw...i can incorporate innovative lighting daw and other beyond-the-standards amenities, plus relate it to culture! wha! and i might have to change the term transitional landscapes kasi isang objective ko lang daw yun, gawing transitional ang streetscape...owel, think think think....still in progress...

Let me expound my point by quoting Donald Appleyard et. al. : [the interest] in the aesthetics of highways [was] out of a concern with the visual formlessness of our cities and an intuition that the new expressway might be one of [the] best means of re-establishing coherence and order on the new metropolitan scale.
