napurga na ata ako sa panonood ng movies dito sa bahay. hahaha.
pagkat yun lang ang tanging pastime naming magkakapatid. lalo na pag umalis ang mga magulang.

yang Horton na yan, dinownload ko ang torrent the other day...
"an elephant is faithful 100 percent!"...oh yeah...
at di masyadong mahilig ang mayor ng whoville sa kids ah...96 lang naman ang anak niya. hahahaha!...basta, si Jojo, astig ka. ang gwapo ng boses (na si Jesse McCartney pala!). haha. kras ko na, haha.


Yung iba puro dvds na dito sa bahay.
Aside form the all-time favorite cartoons na Meet the Robinsons, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Shrek1&2, Nemo, and Monsters Inc (oo, mga 3d animations lahat, i'm a sucker for them, kaya love ko narin si Horton)...eh nanood naman ako ng iba pang movies hahaha.

Eto ang some of movies i've watched na nagandahan ako. haha.

Knocked Up stars the beautiful Katherine Heigl...Na nabuntis ng isang bummer, chubby guy. hehehe. Pero ang sweet nila kahit super odd couple. and it's funny pano pinakita yung process ng pregnancy, you know. hehe. at hindi halatang fake belly niya. Oh and the leading man pala na si Seth Rogen ay ang boses ni Morton na bestfriend ni Horton. hahaha. kyut.


At kumusta Blind Dating na bulag talaga ang bida. The handsome Chris Pine, from Just my Luck, stars as a blind guy who falls in love with the Hindu receptionist sa Hospital. And ang conflict eh yung culture crash blah blah, kasi engaged na pala yung girl (arranged marriage)...and guess what, si papa Sendhil Ramamurth (Dr. Suresh of Heroes) and poging fiance, hehhe.


And because fan rin ako ng Ben Stiller, i loved Heartbreak Kid. Hilarious! haha nightmare pala yung napangasawa niya. hahaha.just goes to show na di dapat minamadali ang kasal. hehe. Nainlove pa siya sa some other girl sa Honeymoon day niya. hihi, just imagine the thrill.


And Georgia Rule naman, starring Lindsay Lohan, na akala ko eh may pagka comedy din eh drama pala. It's a very touching story. Sexually molested si Rachel (Lindsay) ng kanyang Stepfather. Emotional ang mga mother-daughter scenes. The grandmother to Rachel's mom and Rachel to her mom. ganun. nice. ok siya if you're in the mood for drama.


Ah, and i loved Emma Roberts in Nancy Drew. hehehe. Extra pa dun si Bruce Willis and Rachel Leigh Cook. Toink. Hehe, Nancy's a cool nerd. haha. Girl Power! Ego boosting movie ito. tuloy, parang gusto ko narin ng pleated dresses at penny loafers. haha.


License to Wed was cool to. Especially if you're a Robin Williams fan. haha. Di ko alam kung maiinis ako o matatawa nalang kay Reverend Frank (Williams). And super "aww" movie toh...here's my favorite line:

Sadie: I was just thinking about you.

Ben: Yeah?

Sadie: My family said some things to me yesterday about me not relying on you and it got me thinking about the stupid truck you drew in your wedding vow notebook and i know that this is going to sound so wierd but it's why I love you.

You know you don't always say the right things or do the right things but some how I know that you would jump through a hoop of fire for me.

sa PI100 naman, we watched Jose Rizal:Ang buhay ng isang bayani. Well, obviously dapat talaga namin panoorin yan hehe. haha, ang bata pa ni Pen Medina...

ayun.la lang. napurga lang ako sa films.tapos dadada si mam G about lighting after. hehehe...grabe ang daming klase ng lighting eh yung iba naman pareho lang din ang sense/meaning. what's the point? silhouetting's the same with backlighting...moonlighting's similar to downlighting...blah...oh well...hay ganun talaga...

rewind to lunch time...kasama ko si talia, hehe. bago na pala ang latasia.under new management. hmm. i like the purple environment better, pero mas masarap naman daw ang food ngayon.at nagkwento si talia sa kanyang LAE at nakakatakot na encounter with a stray bullet na binutas ang bubong ng boarding house nila at ang walang kwentang mga pulis.huhuhu. scary. damn person with the gun. baka daw lasing yung tao. kako baka tanga, di marunong gumamit ng baril. anyways, if the pulis responded asap baka nahuli pa nila yung gago. oh well, thankfully no one was harmed. katakot talaga.

lola's interment took place this morning in Laloma.
i cried my last few tears. konti lang. kasi masaya naman ako at nasa heaven na siya at di na siya naghihirap.

what's up with me now?

well, i already watched spiderman 3 two weeks ago...ang daming fight scenes..ayun, ok naman, pero 300 parin ang movie of the year for me

hmm, what else? ang itim ko...well, not really, pero you could notice the change... the bigger difference between the skin color of my legs and the color of my face and arms! owel, fun naman ang site visits kaya ok lang...beats bumming in the office naman kasi...hehe

ve'been doing all sorts of residential design projects at work...yan tuloy, nagnanais kami ni Faith ng bahay at lupa! hehe..hey, libre mangarap right? sabi naman ng mga tao sa office, usually daw gubat ang garden nga Landscape Architect..and so we ask why? kasi daw chopsuey na ang mga halaman and ideas! hehe...ganun daw kasi bahay ni IPS..oh really?we've recently site visited westgrove heights pa naman..and woah, it really heightened our dream to have a house talaga..hay..in due time..in due time...

and oh, i wasn't able to go with some of my LA140ers to watch Shrek 3...kasi it was unexpected, and i had a previous obligation to go malling with my cousin in Trinoma...hehe..oh yes! open na siya, just this May16 (wednesday)...and it's a really BIG mall! i mean HUGE! kasi naman...marami nang open na stores pero marami paring sarado...ganun kalaki...and the parking lot complements as well, kasi malaki din siya...they should improve the street signs though..nakakalito ang parking! Faith and I were able to go there during it's opening day, kasi nag-double narin as site visit kasi Polygon ang gumawa ng large pond sa roof deck...as for the pictures, i'll post them sooner or later

yey for ayala malls! iba ang malling experience talaga...hmph, blockmates, may bago na tayong paggagawaan ng plates! hehe...oh, we'll spend our ojt epilogue escapade there, right? hehe (hmm, sasama kaya si sir Dimanlig kung yayayain namin siya? hehe)

hanggang May 22 nalang kami ni Faith sa Polygon...at kinukulit na kami na magpakain!..wha! we have no idea pa kung anung papakain sa kanila...bahala na...mamimiss ko rin ang office...people there are like family narin kasi...in fairness, mamimiss ko rin ang Love Radio (yak.) lalo na ang tandem nila Nicole at Chistsuper na pampagising sa umaga...

nagbabalak mag divi ng pinsan ko sa free day ko sa wednesday...bahala na kung may pera...

hmm, will have CLP in Tagaytay this coming May 25 to 27..not this weekend pala...CLP means Christian Life Program by the BCBP, my parents' fellowship  and our Christian community... the CLP that will be held is for the kids of the members..yep...me and my sibs are going to have a spiritual experience come next weekend..mhmm..

in brief, summer has been fun and also tiring for me...but more of fun! hehe...nyay..in just a few weeks enrollment na naman...hay...

i thought i should start this review with the two most memorable quotes in the movie. very nice noh? hehe...teaser ;p

i rated it with four stars because i believe it's a kind of movie that would probably have different feedbacks, i mean if i only consider myself i'd rate it 5 stars! hehe...but my mom found it simple.my brother was bored (oh, dvd pla ang pinanood namin hehe) while i really liked it! kaya ayun, i guess it depends on who's watching...

anyway, i really loved the story. yes, it was indeed simple - a simple plot and setting and script...but the whole story itself was quite inspiring.touching even. And it was inspired by a true story too.

and the chemistry between true-to-life father-and-son Will Smith and Jaden Smith is remarkable.

the story revolves around the life of a persistent father trying to pursue a good life for him and his son...even when things 'get worse' for them, he tries to find a way out of it..let's put it this way: he'd rather take the track towards happiness than the path to depression...

the point is, no matter how hard life gets to be for him, he doesn't give up..of course, his son keeps him going also..but the thing is, he succeeds after all the sacrifice and hardship. Medyo cliche yeah pero, basta, there's something different about this story that will surely touch a part of you.

the movie has a "hook" factor.
it may seem a typical guy, testosterone increasing movie.pero hinde! for general viewing promise..aside from the cool cinematography, choreography, music, and macho abs...may historical essence din siya my dear friends.

it's a must see movie.worth it ang money niyo.and guys, this is the kind of movie you'd prefer watching on the BIG screen kaysa sa tv with a pirated dvd.galing! galing talaga!

ngayon lang ulit ako napahanga ng ganito sa isang movie ever since i watched national treasure.pero iba ang effect ng 300. walang sinabi si Brad Pitt sa Troy.
