all in a week's activity...

i've amazingly finished the clearance process in a day nung tuesday. and i saw jomie too (whom i can't pursue to attend the grad. toink. matigas ang ulo...haay). i was also able to pay for and accomplish the phi kappa phi requirements that day. though, yung picture ko the next day ko pa nabigay.

spent wednesday and thursday at Paranaque. hehe. watched dvds as usual. haha. amazing ang brand new flat screen tv nila jc haha, surround sound pa mhen! kulang nalang popcorn. laugh trip na naman sa White Chicks and Scare trip with Shutter (the Asian version). and i heart 27 Dresses...na-encounter ko na naman si Katherine Heigl...and yung crazy wife ni Ben Stiller sa Heartbreak Kid eh yung sister ni Katherine dun sa movie. hahaha. may crazy reputation ba xa?

heniwei. i suddenly constructed an "inspirational message" of some sort...for uh something, hehe. ewk, ang bulok ng message ko, but i did my best! hihi :D

then...tada! interview day nung friday. akala ko sandali lang, but no, tila 3-step process ang interview at iba iba pa ang nag-iinterview...pataas ng pataas ata ng posisyon. oh, i saw Kuya Jomar there..hehe, we said our "hellos"...at medyo chumabby siya, pero in fairness, bagay sakanya kaysa yung thin guy i knew nung first year college pa ko, hehehe. Thank God everything went well. May 5 is the day i'll become a member of the Philippine Labor force! yikes! scary yet inexplicably exciting...

hmm, what else?

i was able to meet jejo's co-workers. they were fun! haha.and very accommodating. Dagitab's office is cool. I guess Miko has an eye for classy interiors.

and PUPS! oohh.. i love'em puppies. dilat na ang mga mata ng tuta ni Plate. haha. Keyt, sayo na nga ang isa dun...

oh! i learned Poker today! had a fun road trip with my cousin para pampalamig ba. then visited her friend in Tiera Pura for fun. "Adaza" was super hospitable...we were offered ice cream then a friendly game of poker....hihi, it's like playing pusoy dos and bluff in one! fun fun fun! sa uulitin nga daw..

had a fun night too! late night! haha. chocolates! yum yum...na super milky. and the italian food was great. love the pasta.

movies 101

napurga na ata ako sa panonood ng movies dito sa bahay. hahaha.
pagkat yun lang ang tanging pastime naming magkakapatid. lalo na pag umalis ang mga magulang.

yang Horton na yan, dinownload ko ang torrent the other day...
"an elephant is faithful 100 percent!"...oh yeah...
at di masyadong mahilig ang mayor ng whoville sa kids ah...96 lang naman ang anak niya. hahahaha!...basta, si Jojo, astig ka. ang gwapo ng boses (na si Jesse McCartney pala!). haha. kras ko na, haha.


Yung iba puro dvds na dito sa bahay.
Aside form the all-time favorite cartoons na Meet the Robinsons, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Shrek1&2, Nemo, and Monsters Inc (oo, mga 3d animations lahat, i'm a sucker for them, kaya love ko narin si Horton)...eh nanood naman ako ng iba pang movies hahaha.

Eto ang some of movies i've watched na nagandahan ako. haha.

Knocked Up stars the beautiful Katherine Heigl...Na nabuntis ng isang bummer, chubby guy. hehehe. Pero ang sweet nila kahit super odd couple. and it's funny pano pinakita yung process ng pregnancy, you know. hehe. at hindi halatang fake belly niya. Oh and the leading man pala na si Seth Rogen ay ang boses ni Morton na bestfriend ni Horton. hahaha. kyut.


At kumusta Blind Dating na bulag talaga ang bida. The handsome Chris Pine, from Just my Luck, stars as a blind guy who falls in love with the Hindu receptionist sa Hospital. And ang conflict eh yung culture crash blah blah, kasi engaged na pala yung girl (arranged marriage)...and guess what, si papa Sendhil Ramamurth (Dr. Suresh of Heroes) and poging fiance, hehhe.


And because fan rin ako ng Ben Stiller, i loved Heartbreak Kid. Hilarious! haha nightmare pala yung napangasawa niya. hahaha.just goes to show na di dapat minamadali ang kasal. hehe. Nainlove pa siya sa some other girl sa Honeymoon day niya. hihi, just imagine the thrill.


And Georgia Rule naman, starring Lindsay Lohan, na akala ko eh may pagka comedy din eh drama pala. It's a very touching story. Sexually molested si Rachel (Lindsay) ng kanyang Stepfather. Emotional ang mga mother-daughter scenes. The grandmother to Rachel's mom and Rachel to her mom. ganun. nice. ok siya if you're in the mood for drama.


Ah, and i loved Emma Roberts in Nancy Drew. hehehe. Extra pa dun si Bruce Willis and Rachel Leigh Cook. Toink. Hehe, Nancy's a cool nerd. haha. Girl Power! Ego boosting movie ito. tuloy, parang gusto ko narin ng pleated dresses at penny loafers. haha.


License to Wed was cool to. Especially if you're a Robin Williams fan. haha. Di ko alam kung maiinis ako o matatawa nalang kay Reverend Frank (Williams). And super "aww" movie toh...here's my favorite line:

Sadie: I was just thinking about you.

Ben: Yeah?

Sadie: My family said some things to me yesterday about me not relying on you and it got me thinking about the stupid truck you drew in your wedding vow notebook and i know that this is going to sound so wierd but it's why I love you.

You know you don't always say the right things or do the right things but some how I know that you would jump through a hoop of fire for me.

well, she's having the best and most restful vacation ever! AT HOME.
i know medyo weird pakinggan for some who feel like, ewk, "sa bahay lang ang bakasyon mo?"
well, kasi naman, dito samin ang place of solitude ko, away from the urban stress...hihi
aahh, i missed home so much..all the halabaloo of thesis has kept me from enjoying the warmth and quietness of our humble abode...plus the fact that i missed quality time with my pamilee...(the most important fersons in my layp, teynkyu, lol)

heniwei, before that....HOORAY THE SEM IS OFFICIALLY OVER!
i passed my thesis books wednesday last week, hihi. and oh, sweet sweet elation and bliss suddenly came over me after that....BWAHAHAHA! that explains the weirdness of the blog entry about feeling oh so i-wanna-hug-everyone thingy. you know? it's that feeling of accomplishment and pride...kinda like "OH MY GOSH, I CAN"T BELIEVE I'M FINALLY DONE AND ALL OF THIS IS OVER!" feeling...hehehe. well, not exactlly over kasi graduation day is still a few weeks away.

anyway,gusto ko na nung umuwi asap. kasi super namiss ko ang bahay...arf. kaso i couldn't muna...padaanin ko muna daw ang birthday ng aking "dear" lola...hehehe...and so by saturday, mama came and helped clean up the house para sa birthday ni lola the next day...ah, mmmhmm, the gist of the events that occured on April 6 shall be phlogged:

and oh, the usual camwhoring...

and there was a lot of eating, chit chatting, PSPing, laughing etc... typical family reunion stuff.
too bad my sibs and my dad couldn't make it.

moving on, finally left for home on monday, pero shopping detour muna kami ng aking mudra para sa aking grad gown...sure na ito, sure na! ghad! we bought one for a very good deal kasi may maria clara type shawl na siya, may balintawak pa...both pinya husi and embroidered...just right for a two-day event that requires a filipiniana get-up. :D and if you know me(and especially my mom), the gown was cheap but pretty :D haha, we're total bargain hunters....

and so, arriving home was such a relief...diretso akong bed to watch dvd like there's no tomorrow! hehehe...

but i'm not a total bum...tuesday i accompanied my sister to school as she got her grades...this morning, i accompanied my brother naman para kunin niya ang card niya (segue, akala ng mga classmates niya eh magsyota kami, bwahahahaha! at mas younger looking pa daw ako! lol...ehem ehem)...and may i say that i'm proud of my sibs for having such good grades...wee! mana sa ate? hehehe, chorva!

hay, GOD is so good. kung di dahil sa Kanya, for His gifts of wisdom and strength, eh di ko matatapos ang thesis ko and i wouldn't have graced through college life courageously. ha! to God be the Glory! (and a certain professor has texted me a warm "Congratulations" that confirms "it") oh thank you Lord!

next week i'll be taking care of clearance, applying for the honor's society, and going to a job interview on friday...next next week, grad practice! i can't wait...huhu, ang tagal tagal pa ng grad...

and oh,i got a new cellphone, kanina lang :D grad gift ng tito art ni enok...straight from qatar...
